Here is my question: are there any reasonable motherboards that will fit the mount points in this shell, and maybe connect to the original power supply's 24-pin plug (see below)? Ideally, I'd like to put in an i5 processor. Thus, I've taken out the processor and mother board, as shown. I'd like to be able to salvage the shell, because it's nice-looking, sturdy, and easy to open, with a hinged side door, and maybe use the power supply, which gives 360w. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming there's no point upgrading the processor to bring such an old desktop up to speed, and that the project will involve replacing the motherboard and most of the other components.
